The 1015 is a medium duty landing craft with a 2m44 wide bow door and includes the superstructure and steering console.
The design has a self bailing deck and build-in fuel tanks with a capacity of 800 liters, which can be adapted to compensate any specific loading characteristics depending on the application and usage. Her construction is a combination of longitudinal and transverse framing and designed in accordance with CE- category B (coastal waters).
The maximum payload is 3,000 kg, subject to centre of gravity height and position as well as operating conditions.
The hull has excellent handling characteristics even at higher speeds. Sea trials with twin Yanmar 4LHA and Hamilton HJ 274 jets gave maximum speeds of 29 kn in light condition (7.200 kg displacement) and 23kn under loaded condition at 8,000 kg displacement, with a cruising speed of 19 kn. This design can also be modified for (twin) outboard propulsion.
The pre-cut building kit has been modified by Bruce Roberts Europe bv to comply with the European codes and Rules, as well as production standards and comprises extremely accurate cut parts from first class marine grade aluminium, including precision markings, the pre-forming of all parts and profiles (extrusions) as used in the hull’s construction.
The standard kit comprises all parts for the hull, fuel tank, bow door (ramp) including hinges, and cabin which can be modified to customer’s requirement. A comprehensive set of assembly drawings and step by step instructions accompany each kit, ensuring efficient and fast assembly of each boat.
